9 Best Beach Levels In Gaming

Emerald Coast is a perfect first level for Sonic Adventure. It has the perfect blend of calm sandy areas for you to practice your moves and adrenaline-pumping setpieces to let you know what's in store for you throughout the game.

Also, there's no swimming in this level which automatically makes it better. Yes, water levels can work, but they don't work in Sonic Adventure so the less water here, the better.

To be honest though, maybe the beach should be closed off as there appears to be a killer whale roaming around, which Sonic can deal with but could you?

Emerald Coast isn’t only visited by Sonic during the course of the game.

The E-102 Gamma level set in Emerald Coast is one of the better Gamma levels, although it involves you capturing Froggy which gives me flashbacks to the Big the Cat segments.

Talking about Big the Cat the only thing Emerald Coast can't do is make Big any fun, you have a segment dedicated to him on this beach and it's just as bad as every other level that features the purple abomination.
