9 Best Beach Levels In Gaming

Quite a few games start off on beaches. They're a place of joy so it makes sense that the easiest level where there's little danger would take place at the seaside.

Whilst you can't exactly call anything with giant crabs and bottomless pits safe, this is definitely your only chance to chill a little in the original Crash Bandicoot before the difficulty reaches N-Sane levels - no I'm not apologising for that awful joke.

It's great, it might be more jungle than seaside for most of it but it has the word "beach" in its title so I'm counting it.

N-Sanity Beach is also in Crash Team Racing as the hub of the first cup. Crash Twinsanity also references the beach with its opening level N-Sanity Island. N-Sanity Beach truly is the Green Hill Zone of Crash Bandicoot, appearing time and time again whenever it gets the chance.

Whilst N-Sanity Beach is definitely the most iconic beach level in the Crash Bandicoot series, it's not the only great seaside level in the franchise with Rude Awakening from Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time also being a lot of fun.
