7. Jackbox Party Pack 3

Onto a franchise that's still one of the finest party games in existence - the Jackbox titles have long perfected getting people to use their phones as controllers, and Party Pack 3 introduces some of the most creative minigames yet.

First you'll have to get paired up by visiting Jackbox's website and entering the room code the game gives you, but from there it's smooth sailing. Any latent players can form part of the game's 'audience' too, submitting answers alongside the contestants.

Best of all is the 'Trivia Murder Party'; a black comedy-infused setup where a deranged killer asks you questions as a means to discern if you should stay alive. Get one wrong and he fires more challenges at you, with the final round being a ghosts vs. humans sprint for the finish.
