9 Confessions Of A PS4 Owner After Buying An Xbox One

1. Owning Both Consoles Isn€™t As Fun As You'd Think

Sadly the biggest confession I have to make is that, months on, owning both Microsoft and Sony's consoles just isn't as fun as I'd expected it to be. I still favour the PS4, and other than for a handful of particular Xbox exclusives (why wasn't Titanfall a bigger hit!?), I probably won't be using Microsoft's system all that regularly.

While I don't regret buying the second console, it definitely wasn't the all-access gaming paradise I had imagined it going in. Being unrestricted to the games on the market feels great, of course, but so far that privilege doesn't seem worth the cost of a brand new piece of hardware.

So unless you've got money to burn, you're not really missing much by not playing the console field. The competition and excitement is part of what makes gaming fun to start with, and with that taken out of the equation, getting yourself so involved with this industry just isn't as rewarding as it should be.

I guess there's still the Wii U or the NX to be jealous of, right?
