Game: Alien: Isolation Alien: Isolation was one of the scariest games of the year, while also managing to be the greatest ever video game adaptation of a beloved franchise. Everything from the sounds of the motion sensors to the twisted look of the alien itself was accurate to Ridley Scott's original vision. The game was filled with uncomfortably tense moments, but none more so than crawling through the air vents. Much like in the movies, it's never a good idea to enter a vent with the Xenomorph about, but oftentimes the game forces you to do just that.
