9 Great Video Games With ONE Broken Enemy
5. Shao Kahn - Mortal Kombat 11
Appearing across various Mortal Kombat games as a particularly storied a-hole of multi-dimensional proportions, Shao Kahn's MK 11 incarnation was an abject horror to fight.
You can argue the definition of "broken" in this context down in the comments, but the only way to get around Kahn's relentless attack strings and stun-locks... was to do the same to him.
You literally ended up seeing which of your character's one or two moves could be used in tandem, or which could be spammed repeatedly. Once you figured this out, "winning" was a case of trapping Shao Kahn in the side of the screen, hammering out your victory combo until he finally went down.
Naturally it felt euphoric to finally emerge victorious, but to resort to such terrible tactics? No part of this felt intentional.
