3. Hot Coco - Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped

Crash Bandicoot's N. Sane Trilogy reframed the Orange Marsupial's games as having a notably hard reputation, but even back in the child-friendly Crash 3, Naughty Dog were still up to these old tricks.

Called Hot Coco, you can access this area by slamming into the alien road sign on level 14: Road Crash.

Doing so warps you into the twilight version of Coco Bandicoot's standard stages, only to get all the crates and gems, you'll have to weave some incredibly tight lines around instant-killing bombs and nitro boxes.

Down to Crash 3's water physics being floaty and drifty as hell, the difficulty comes not from figuring out what to do, but in Coco's locomotion betraying you every step of the way.
