9 Massive Video Game Rumours That Would Dominate 2016
8. Bethesda Will Tease The Next Elder Scrolls At E3
Likelihood: 6/10 Remember this time last year, when we heard rumours that Fallout 4 would be at E3, yet brushed them off as a "Naa, it's too good to be true"-type deal? Well, 2016 marks the second year that Bethesda have chosen to host their own conference at the highly-publicised show, in theory meaning they have something else worth showing off. Things to take into account are developer Pete Hines mentioning that we wouldn't see the next TES "for quite some time", but the latest rumour nobody seems to be able to pin a source to, that it's actually coming in 2019. On the flip-side, the E3 rumours are as simple as questioning why Bethesda would request the floorspace in the first place, if not to continue the sort of grandstanding reception they kickstarted last year. You don't rock up to E3 and on your debut showing, unveil Fallout 4, only to not have something just as monumental for your sophomore year. TES may still be held back until 2019, but I think we'll see a teensy slice of tantalising footage and a confirmed name (early bets are on 'Argonia') this E3.
