3. Someday You’ll Return

Someday You'll Return, by its own admission, isn't afraid to wear its influences on its sleeve. Looking at what made the likes of Resident Evil 7, Outlast 2 and The Vanishing of Ethan Carter successful, CBE Software's title is taking mechanics and ideas from those influences to make something new, distinct and original. And, judging from the footage released so far, it looks as though they've pulled it off.

About the search for a man's missing daughter, who's disappeared in an area that holds immense personal trauma for him already, the player is tasked with unwrapping the mystery while dealing with a sense of reality that's constantly threatening to fall apart.

With a similar horror theme as Blair Witch, Someday You'll Return is set to be one of the first big horror release of the year, with its May 5th release date only a few weeks away.
