9 Things We Learned From Tokyo Game Show 2017
2. Final Fantasy XV's Multiplayer DLC Lands October 31
Final Fantasy XV's long-awaited multiplayer DLC, Comrades, has finally been given a release date of October 31st. The new mode will allow players to create their own character and quest up with three pals in order to solve some of the core game's lingering post-story mysteries (to that end, note that the below trailer does include some story spoilers from FFXV).
Square Enix also added that the mode will feature Gladiolus, Prompto and Ignis as playable characters in a later update, and Comrades will be available to Season Pass holders at no additional cost.
While those who were disappointed with FFXV might feel that the boat sailed on this one long ago and this update is simply too little too late, it does look like a fun (if rather belated) addition for those who did in fact enjoy the latest entry.
