9 Upcoming Must-Play PS4 Exclusives

7. Hellblade

The three tenets of Hellblade€™s development are €œninja-class combat, strong character stories, and a unique art vision.€ In an Official PlayStation blog post, Ninja Theory goes on to make multiple mentionings of how €œuncompromising€ their combat is, which altogether sounds pretty€ uncompromising. We€™re not surprised, considering the pedigree. DMC: Devil May Cry. Enslaved. Most directly, Heavenly Sword. Just look at those Greeky red locks! Are you Greekin€™ out right now? We are. We€™re talking about some of the slickest fighting systems around, some tastily tight controls and exceptional acting. Heavenly Sword€™s main bad guy was played by Mr. Precious himself, the lord of the ring, Andy Serkis. Enslaved and DMC more than held their own with incredibly expressive characters, stellar voice-acting and lifelike animations. Ninja Theory has labeled Hellblade an €œindependent AAA€ game. It€™s a solo endeavor, €œdeveloped and published independently but with all the quality and production values of any AAA game on the market.€ Set in a Hellish Underworld €“ full of blades, no doubt €“ Hellblade will be a welcome slasher, button-masher beat-em-up to the PS4€™s wide open list of genres to fill. If we had to take a wack at cracking the teaser trailer€™s code, we€™d say the protagonist, Senua, is summoning some kind of change in reality. Kneeling or praying with her sword firmly staked in the center of a simple, stone shrine, every shadow crawls rapidly across the screen as the daylight rushes above. A corpse-y body hangs before her, tethered between two pillars. As it breathes a wakening breath, the twisted black clouds swirl behind it . Are they another dimension? A -- Hellish dimension? With blades? We€™d bet her Greeky locks!

Real Science Magazine called James' addiction to video games "sexually attractive." He also worked really hard and got really lucky in college and earned some awards for acting, improv and stand-up, but nobody cares about that out here in LA. So... He's starting over fresh, performing when He can. His profile picture features James as Serbian, vampire comic Dorde Mehailo with His anonymous Brother and Uncle at the Nerdmelt Showroom in West Hollywood. In James' spare time, he engages in acting, writing, athletics, hydration, hours of great pondering and generally wishing you'd like him.
