9 Upcoming Must-Play PS4 Exclusives

5. Bloodborne

Anyone that played Dark Souls for more than five hours got sucked in for another fifty. Granted, forty of those hours would be spent dying terrible deaths. Sparsely laid, unconventional checkpoints in the form of bonfires made failure all the more painful. Then you finally killed that thing you€™d been killing all day; the same thing that utterly humiliated you with murder for four hours straight. Who€™s laughing now? Not the big dead scorpion wizard thing! Not the big dead purple-vomit rock-dragon thing? They are dead! We killed them. On PS4, From Software is setting itself apart from its PS3 €œSoul Games€ with their newest nihilistic nightmare. Bloodborne trades in the medieval castle, sword and shield for a gothic castle, a massive shaving blade and a sawed-off. Shields and shotguns are definitely not the same thing. Intriguing€ Allegedly, Bloodborne plays a tad faster thanks to some tightened controls and a health system that recharges as your enemies take damage. For those wary of what lurks around the corner, this means that fighting will actually save your life. HP has been reconstituted as the €œWill to Live.€ As you successfully lay the proverbial smackdown, your €œWill to Live€ replenishes. As Elvis Presley would say, €œA little less dying every time, a little more action.€ All you€™ve got to do is cut-up some nasty gothic freak-meat! Enjoy.

Real Science Magazine called James' addiction to video games "sexually attractive." He also worked really hard and got really lucky in college and earned some awards for acting, improv and stand-up, but nobody cares about that out here in LA. So... He's starting over fresh, performing when He can. His profile picture features James as Serbian, vampire comic Dorde Mehailo with His anonymous Brother and Uncle at the Nerdmelt Showroom in West Hollywood. In James' spare time, he engages in acting, writing, athletics, hydration, hours of great pondering and generally wishing you'd like him.
