4. First Boss - Mega Man Zero

Mega Man bosses usually have awesome names like Ice Man or Bomb Man, but you probably resorted to calling this clattering abomination a number of expletives instead.

Coming only a few minutes into the game, suddenly helper-character Ciel is held hostage by the massive mech and it's up to you to blow its synthetic brains out. You'll do so... while dodging screen-filling laser-sweeps, collapsing stonework that saps your health in two, and the occasional charge attack just incase you thought about breathing for a second.

Mega Man always had a reputation for being harder than a coffin nail, and for this reboot of sorts on the Game Boy Advance, it seems the creators took that to heart.
