9 Video Games That Are Absolutely Perfect Stress-Relievers
4. Flow
The second game on this list from thatgamecompany, Flow was a game originally created for a thesis by the game's developer before it was turned into the game we love on the Playstation 3. Considered by many to be more of an art piece than a game, Flow takes the concept of evolution and turns it into something unlike anything else seen in video game history. Hyperbole aside, Flow is a truly relaxing experience; featuring simple controls that don't require any thought and taking place in what amounts to an interactive petri dish, the player is able to drift off into a pleasant aqua marine-reality. Flow is a far cry from most modern games, and its success proves their is a market for games that don't require us to blow off the head off the nearest thing with a pulse. Crafting games that truly relax us is a challenge in itself given the inherent interactivity of the medium, and thatgamecompany deserve all the plaudits they can receive.
