Daily Revenue: $5 million (single day taken from launch of new Legendary Pokémon)

At the height of its fame - which lasted... a couple of months - Pokémon GO initially commanded an impressive $1.6 million a day (on iOS only), but of course we all know how that story ended.

Thankfully, Niantic didn't take the money and run, and rather like No Man's Sky also rebuilding itself, got to work implementing better gameplay systems for all to see. Now, the Pokémon GO of 2017 manages to take somewhere between $373k (based on current US daily revenue) and the aforementioned $5 million, landing - assumedly - somewhere in the middle.

You can also take into account that Niantic hosted their first Pokémon GO festival, continue supporting the game on a monthly basis and will be adding even more Pokémon going forward. Basically, don't think the app really went away, after all.
