9 Video Games That Mock You For Playing On Easy

2. Wanted: Weapons of Fate

Wanted Weapons Of Fate
Warner Bros.

Wanted: Weapons of Fate is a deeply average video game based on a deeply average movie that was based on cult favourite comic series. If those first descriptors sounded kind of harsh because you liked either of them then think of any time you wanted to play a video game on ‘Easy’ for literally any reason and you’ll be peeved off enough to support my mild sledging.

That’s largely because there was no beating around the bush or mildness to the sledging Wanted: Weapons of Fate had to throw at players who were keen to select the easy difficulty setting. You’ve got three options here; Hard which is titled ‘The Killer’, Normal which is ‘Assassin’, and ‘Easy’ which is described innocuously enough as ‘suitable for users playing a shooter game for the first time’ but is titled ‘Pussy’. Yep.

To be fair, the language is in keeping with the edgy source material but if you didn’t know that you’d be forgiven for having a “What the hell, game” reaction.
