Rockstar went out of their way to ensure Grand Theft Auto V was the gold standard of gaming. With a budget of $265 million and a 1000-person developing team, there's no question the creators put blood, sweat, and tears into this revolutionary title. Considering it sold 11 million copies within the first day, you can tell gamers were dying to play GTA V.

And what did everyone do when they finally got the chance to play it?

They drove around, shot people, and faffed about. Even though an unprecedented amount of effort went into the architecture, characters, performances, and dialogue, a lot of players spend most of their time beating up bystanders, getting chased by the police, or performing outrageous stunts. In fact, some fans are so happy procrastinating, they never bother with the story mode.

Even though the main campaign is incredible, the superfluous aspects of the game are too entertaining to avoid. Who doesn't want to meet aliens? Who doesn't want to fight Teen Wolf as Bigfoot? Taking part in these tasks won't impact the story but, as any fan of the franchise knows, that's not going to put you off.
