Fallout 4 Intro
Bluehole

One of the first games to popularize battle royale, PUBG was developed by Bluehole and came onto the gaming scene in 2017. Known for its realistic graphics and more subtle approach to battle royale than other titles like Fortnite, PUBG became the go-to for people who were fans of the Call of Duty franchise.

The known pros of the game include the realistic approach to player vs. player survival, a huge map with large amounts of players, and the high risk high reward matches. It's a fun challenge and a rewarding experience for anyone looking to change up the usual team death match we're all used to.

However, PUBG has lost some fans and there are a lot of people who have very different opinions on the subject. With the introduction of loot boxes and microtransactions within the last year, the popularity of the game has decreased. More recently however, players have had to contend with connection issues due to servers being shut down. As of now, only one server exists in North America - in the state of Ohio. With more than 24% of the player base in the U.S., that's not exactly an ideal situation.
