A Brand New WWE Game Is On Its Way
2K Games to bring the first ever simulation based WWE mobile game to fans.
WWE 2K15 may have received a mixed reaction from some corners of the WWE Universe, but 2K Games have announced they're going to release the first ever simulation-based mobile game in the Spring. The game will be closer to the typical format seen on the console versions and it'll include a Career Mode, Create-A-Superstar and live Multiplayer matches to test your mettle against other players. 2K confirmed the game will feature the likes of Sting, Triple H, Hulk Hogan, Undertaker and John Cena, as well as the three members of the now-defunct Shield, Daniel Bryan and Bray Wyatt. It's unknown if more superstars will make an appearance. The challenge of developing the title will fall to n-Space and Visual Concepts, a 2K studio; the president of Visual Concepts, Greg Thomas said:
WWE 2K marks a great milestone in 2Ks partnership with WWE, as we bring the first authentic WWE simulation experience to market for mobile devices. WWE gaming enthusiasts will soon experience WWE action and several fan-favorite modes inspired by the WWE 2K flagship console series in an engaging new way. It's certainly a step forward for the WWE, who are finding new ways to break into the ever-growing mobile gaming market. The WWE 2K Supercard game, which doesn't feature any live action, was released in 2014 to a positive reception, but this is their first attempt at introducing typical wrestling gameplay to mobile devices. It'll cost approximately £5.40 and can be played on iPhone, iPad and Android devices.
