AEW Fight Forever 2: 10 Improvements Fans NEED To See

4. More Match Types (Way More!)

Let's not beat around the bush: AEW's game is sorely lacking when it comes to offering interesting match types gamers can screw around with. You've got standard singles, tags, three-ways, four-ways, ladder bouts, falls count anywhere, Casino Battle Royale and then crazy gimmicks like 'Exploding Barbed Wire' and 'Lights Out'.

That's literally it.

Fight Forever 2 badly needs to have the foreboding 'Blood & Guts' double cage, and it could do with a fair whack of extra match types generally. It's a head-scratcher that you can't line up a tornado tag when doubles matches are already in the game, for example. What's that all about?!

If 'Blood & Guts' is a technical nightmare (it took 2K ages to work out to implement WarGames), then standard steel cages would cut it as a compromise. Fight Forever's zippy, arcade-style gameplay and emphasis on big bumps makes it perfect for leaping off the top of cages like Cody Rhodes circa 2020.
