Aliens: Colonial Marines: 10 Reasons You Should Be Excited

9. We Got Nukes, We Got Knives

Private Hudson said it best when explaining the unrivaled armaments the marines have at their disposal: iconic weapons like the automatic target tracker smart gun, the powerful sentry turret and the most famous the pulse rifle. When witnessing and especially hearing the firepower of these weapons, it's hard not to be awe-struck with how impressive the firepower is. Whenever I actually got to fire these weapons in prior Alien affiliated games, the experience was the icing on the cake in making me feel like a real colonial marine. The xenomorphs may have numbers, acid blood and an almost perfect camouflage for darkness, but when you have your pulse rifle locked on their eyeless face, you know they're in for a world of hurt. As well as capturing the authenticity of the films, Aliens: Colonial Marines will also feature some new additions to the armoury on top of the familiar weaponry. There is also the possibility of letting players use the exo-suit power loader or perhaps a militarized version against whatever big boss you'll inevitability have to fight. One thing is certain, once you grab hold of one these amazing weapons, you'll feel like you can mow down hundreds of the xenos.
