4. There Are More Things That Can Hurt You
Fans of the series are all to familiar with the lurking terror that are the bees. (It’s not an attack item in Smash Bros. for nothing!) They can appear when you shake trees and attack you when disturbed. But now that we’re on an island, there are even MORE things to worry about! Wasps and scorpions have been added to the mix, labelled as “dangerous creatures” in the Direct.
Like the bees, they can be caught in the bug net if you’re quick enough. But let them catch you and you will once again get stung…or even worse. While we’re sure death is not a thing in Animal Crossing (we think), there’s still quite a bit more out there that’s set to do you harm.
At least there are ways to recover from getting attacked this time around. The “Medicine” item will cure the cosmetic damage done by bee/wasp stings, for example. No word yet if you have to ask villagers to suck the poison out of your scorpion sting, though.
