Assassin's Creed 4: 5 Features From The Franchise That Must Return
4. Deep Customization This is something that was severely lacking in the last two games. For an open-world franchise-and one whose premise revolves around freedom-customization in Revelations and AC3 was practically non-existent. In both games you only got to choose to change the color of the whole outfit unlike AC2 where you could change the cape and outfit. That may seem small, but considering that AC2 followed AC1, it was a very fresh and pleasant feature at the time. You would think the future installments would improve on this feature instead of diminishing it, but that's what happened. We don't even see our purchased outfits in the cutscenes of AC3! If the campaigns used the customization system in the multiplayer, fans would have been more than satisfied. But they didn't and as a result, the games suffered for it. Hopefully this will change in the upcoming installment.
