Assassin's Creed 4: 5 Features From The Franchise That Must Return
2. Repressed Memories I cannot even fathom the thought of someone even thinking it would be a good idea to remove these. The inclusion of these-along with the Assassin recruits-is what made Brotherhood unique and not a complete rehash of AC2. Not only did it give an incentive to achieve 100% synchronization for each movie, it added an extra layer to Ezio. This worked great because it made us sympathize with Ezio even more with the rather generic character. This would've also allowed more character development for AC3's protagonist Connor. Imagine if we got to see how young Connor coped with the death of his mother, still fresh on his mind. To see him go with the remaining villagers to find a new home. To see if any of the other parents treated Connor as their own after his loss. Considering repressed memories have been absent for two games, it will most likely remain that way but I pray it won't.
