The setting is one of the most crucial parts in the AC franchise and for the most part, Ubisoft has been spot on with picking them. But then, there are many who say the Revolution wasn't that great due to the cities looking the same and the layout of the buildings. So while a completely different change in setting makes sense, there is still another reason to visit the states again. The setting would be the War of 1812, which took place in 1812 and was fought between the United States and Great Britain backed by Native American allies on the other. Memorable events that could inspire set-pieces wouldn't be an issue, as the war included The Burning of Washington. It would also be interesting to see the citizens once again facing opposition from the British because it will allow us to view an extreme hatred when walking the streets. Assuming the streets will welcome Connor, since word of the Natives aiding the British will eventually get around. When this happens we could find it harder to blend in with the crowd, which would add a change to the familiar system. The setting would also allow naval battles, so Ubisoft would still be able to implement any changes made to the naval combat. And that's not to mention it would give us an opportunity to see how much the cities advanced and to see if it would more fun to take to the rooftops with Connor this time around. And speaking of Connor...
