4. Dismantle Equipment For Resources

Crafting and crafting components almost feel optional given the rate with which you're granted new gear, but if you do want to get stuck into that side of the game, know that obsolete weapons and armour can serve you well.

Instead of selling to a merchant, open your inventory and hold square/X on any unequipped objects to Dismantle them, granting you everything from ore to soft leather that you can feed into other equipment.

You'll need crafting materials on-hand to create different types of arrows as you level up - not to mention upgrading weapons at blacksmiths - so next time, say no to coin and grab some materials instead.
