Assassin's Creed: Ranking All The Assassins From Worst To Best

7. Alexios

Assassin's Creed characters
Ubisoft

One of two possible protagonists for Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Alexios is the grandson of the legendary King Leonidas of Sparta. He's also a tough one to pin down given how much freedom players have in deciding how they want this hero to come across.

In his most naturally good playthroughs, Alexios establishes himself as a God-like warrior, starting out as a mercenary for hire before learning that his sister, Kassandra, had been brainwashed by the Cult of Kosmos - an early Templar organisation built for control and dominance.

And, whilst he might not have the most amount of development ever seen in a character, his dedication to saving his sister and the ways in which he rids the world of the cult's Templar leaders make him one of the most powerful Assassins going.

On the flip side, if players decide to pick Kassandra as their Odyssey protagonist, Alexios will show himself to be a brutal, stubborn and deluded individual with a God complex rarely ever seen in an Assassin's Creed game. Though he isn't technically the canonical option for the Odyssey story, Alexios makes for a fun pick for rampaging around ancient Greece.
