2. Edward Kenway
Edward is probably the most enigmatic and intriguing of all the Assassins. At first he clearly doesnt really care about the raging war between the Assassins and Templars but rather his own personal gain as a ship plundering pirate. His only goal in life is to go on adventures in hopes of getting rich. This results with his induction into the guild as a slow burn but also makes for a gripping personal story. Without spoiling anything, the ending to Assassins Creed 4 is one of the most touching moments in gaming and caps off an amazing story thats entirely different from anything in the series. It's not just pirating ships and partaking in missions alongside Blackbeard that propel the experience though. Edward can also fight using 2 swords at once which is very flashy and fun to do. Theres also the ability to utilize 4 guns in your arsenal to rapidly blast away enemies similarly to how an actual pirate would fight. Ultimately though, Edward is just very charismatic, perfectly blurring the lines between assassin and pirate.
