Assassin's Creed: Unity New Gameplay Videos Revealed

First shown in a scripted demo at E3, we're getting a sense of just how much your actions are going to matter in the new AC.

To celebrate Bastille Day, Ubisoft have dropped a new trailer for AC: Unity, compiling shots that'll seem familiar to any who have seen the initial E3 reveal - however thanks to one incredibly epic and foreboding voiceover from new character Arno Dorian, they're really nailing down the feel of Paris during the French Revolution. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=muy3PaaETKs It's no surprise that Ubi are doubling down on rendering their home country to absolute perfection, with the footage confirming the idea that Paris in-game will be a 1:1 recreation. That's not the only part of the game receiving meticulous attention to detail though, as uniforms for the guards, Arno's Assassin outfit and every single NPC are all rendered to a degree that means the whole experience can only be done on the new hardware. Speaking of new, it seems one of the biggest mechanics that's going to shake up the way we traverse the world is the reducing of the iconic haystacks we've fallen into ever since the first game. Instead, when you decide to come down from a perch, Arno will look to the nearest outcrop and react accordingly, deftly jumping to catch and swing his way back to ground level. Although it could be seen as an over-simplification of something that would be great fun to manually control, if this leads to Spider-Man 2-esque moments of just finding the tallest structures in the land to fling yourself off of, it's still going to be great fun. As well as this we have another clip entitled 'Inside The Revolution', which while it doesn't offer more gameplay footage, instead it helps immensely to establish the necessary context for any not up to speed on their hooded French neck-stabbing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P9sz7jH_PF8 So what did you guys think of the new trailer, and the setting overall?
