Avengers: 8 Ways To Save The Game
4. Fix Matchmaking & PC Bugs
You almost can't be mad at Crystal Dynamics when it comes to the state of their multiplayer servers.
One, because part of a beta is testing this stuff before launch, and two, because they've never come close to developing a game like Marvel's Avengers.
Synchronised multiplayer sessions, loot drops (some shared, others on an individual basis), ensuring we're all fighting fluidly no matter what? It's one hell of a step up from Tomb Raider and Legacy of Kain.
Still, come launch those points won't matter, nor should they. Avengers is a premium product sold for a premium price tag, and it should work right off the bat - something the beta barely does.
PC users saw repeated crashes and character faces not loading in, while console users struggled to get into games or even search for players.
The matchmaking side of this is integral to everything other than the story, and that's a key component to perfect.
