6. Scarlet Witch
Scarlet Witch is a really exciting character to possibly be added to the game due to the fact that, outside of the MCU, her reality warping abilities come from her being a mutant.
If they add Scarlet Witch and acknowledge her mutant origin, this means that any other mutant character could join the roster and we could even see characters such as Wolverine, Cyclops and Jean Grey.
Furthermore Scarlet Witch could have some of the most unique abilities in the game. She doesn't have hand to hand combat training and doesn't rely on a signature weapon, instead she can warp reality to her whim and mind control others. The potential for her abilities in the game are near limitless, so here's hoping that the developers really lean into the insanity of her powers.
When it comes to the game's story, as mentioned earlier it does seem likely that if mutants are to be introduced to Marvel's Avengers, Scarlet Witch would be the perfect character to lead that introduction. After all, her father is Magneto...
