Avengers LEAK: Every Playable Character That Will Be Included

Is War Machine distinct enough from Iron Man to warrant his own character in Avengers? According to the leak, that would seem to be the case.

Although they probably could get away with just having a few War Machine variants for Iron-Man's armour suits in the game, it looks like the developers are gearing up to make War Machine his own character.

In the movies, War Machine's suit, while similar to Iron-Man's, focuses on more lethal weaponry. With more emphasis on missiles and other offensive techniques, perhaps Crystal Dynamics can switch up War Machine's abilities enough to make him different to Iron-Man when played in-game.

Otherwise, he's likely to play very similarly to Iron-Man with flight and hover capabilities, as well as enhanced strength as a result of his suit. We'd particularly like to see the Iron Patriot version of War Machine as an outfit in the game, and given the level of customisation other characters are getting, we'd say this is strongly within the realms of possibility for the character.
