Avengers LEAK: Every Playable Character That Will Be Included

Steve Rogers was the one of the first characters to be confirmed for Marvel's Avengers, and will be bringing the pain with his iconic shield as the game launches this September.

Although he's not playable in the beta without a bit of glithy trickery, we can learn a bit about Captain America from the datamine too. We're already seen how he incorporates his shield into his fighting style (with the ability to fling it boomerang style like Kratos' axe from God of War), but it also looks like he has some rudimentary flight capabilities designed to help you get up to higher ledges.

Captain America's skilltree has also been revealed, and is full of abilities such as the ability to rally your friends and boost their capabilities (Cap's a leader, remember?), upgrades to his sheild abilities and specialist moves including the 'somersault jump' and specific attacks named 'New York Knuckles' or Brooklyn Brawler. The developers also recently confirmed a special combo attack with Iron Man is also possible when playing as Cap.

Like all of the other characters in the game, Cap will also have a huge array of unlockable costumes and aesthetic upgrades, which unlock as you level up the character.
