Batman: Arkham 2017: 10 Ways To Make The Perfect Damian Wayne Game
5. Give Players A Different Kind Of Vehicle
When we first caught wind of Montreal's Damian title, rumours stated that he'd be roaming around in his own ride: the Bat Cycle.
Before I get into the reasons why the cycle is already an infinitely better choice for a Bat-game than the Batmobile, it must be said that vehicles aren't a necessary part of any Bat-to-game adaption; they're complimentary at best, and Batman has never really struggled to navigate rooftops when the need arises. That said, a Bat-themed garage wouldn't go amiss, especially if it managed to actually make road navigation an enticing prospect for players again.
The Bat Cycle is certainly the right tool for the job; it's manoeuvrable, relatively indiscreet, speedy, and lacks the ostentation of some of the Dark Knight's more comical vehicles; so it's basically everything the Bat-Tank isn't, which is perfect. Weaving in and out of traffic in hot-pursuit of a villainous vehicle is bound to invoke positive recollections of Saturday morning binges of Batman: The Animated Series, and with Conroy's presence more than likely assured, we're well on our way to getting an enjoyable Bat-themed bonanza already.
