Some of the villains that Batman has fought have challenged him physically and mentally, but no matter how bad it gets I can not see Batman ever calling on others for help. There are some instances in comic book history where he has called for backup, but the Arkham Asylum/City version of Batman primarily works alone. They have built him into a character that seems to have it all under control, although the Harley Quinn DLC slightly contradicts that. When gamers play as The Bat, they feel as if they can take on any foe single-handedly. If we approach a foe and have a cutscene showing Wonder Woman saving Batman, we will lose that feeling.
