BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY Online Pass Needed to Unlock Catwoman

The content will be locked unless you have a code that is provided with the purchase of a brand new game.

It was confirmed today that you will need to purchase an online pass to get the Catwoman content if you buy Batman: Arkham City used (second hand). The content will be locked unless you have a code that is provided with the purchase of a brand new game. People who buy Batman: Arkham City used can purchase the content for $9.99 US on Xbox Live or the PSN. Warner Bros. did confirm however, the Catwoman content is not necessary to beat the game. Quotes from the Warner Bros. statement which you can read in full HERE;
"Further to your story, players who purchase previously owned copies of Batman: Arkham City can access the playable Catwoman content for £7.99/ 800 Microsoft Points. Playing as Catwoman is not required to complete the game."
Apparently, the Catwoman content will fall more in the range of bonus content as apposed to being main story driven; which confuses me because I heard about five to ten percent of the game was playing as Catwoman but now this is considered bonus material? Personally this won't affect me because I intend to purchase this game at a midnight release and from everything I am hearing you should too. Batman: Arkham City will be released October 21st on Xbox 360, Playstation 3, PC. Stick with WhatCulture! over the coming weeks as we preview more of the game which you can track our articles HERE.
