BATMAN: ARKHAM CITY Reviews To Give Perfect 10/10 Score

IGN are rumoured to have given Rocksteady's Batman: Arkham Asylum an extremely rare full marks review!

Updated:IGN have gone live with their review and gave it 9.5 The online reviews embargo on the hotly anticipated release Batman: Arkham City breaks at 2pm (UK Time) this afternoon and very soon we will know if it lives up to the insane hype that has surrounded Rocksteady's Batman: Arkham Asylum sequel ever since it was first announced. The early word is that the reviews for the game will be spectacular and we've heard that several publications will be giving it a perfect score in the already written write-ups that we will be privy to in just over an hour. Last night we got word from those claiming several well known websites (including IGN and Gameinformer's review) were going to go live with 10/10 scores, which if true, is extremely rare and history tells us only ever allocated to the absolute best titles on the market. There are other rumours spreading on forums that IGN's perfect score has been awarded for it's €œhigh replay value€, and that "Arkham City not only lives up to Arkham Asylum but surpasses it in every way€ though I must stress this is not something we were told last night. If this turns out to be true it would be IGN's first perfect score since Super Mario Galaxy and they have only given the perfect score on a few further occasions (Grand Theft Auto IV, Metal Gear Solid4). Check back in a couple of hours when we will know for sure... Meanwhile to keep you busy the first television ads for Batman: Arkham City are starting to circulate, this one featuring a grown man believing he actually is Batman (we've all been there right?);
