Batman Arkham City Sequel: 5 Storylines We Want To See

3. League Of Assassins Trying To Take Over The World

The Story: The Death of The Joker has left Gotham with the longest period of peace in centuries. All the crime lords and mad villains have decided to disappear in the wake of his destruction. To celebrate this in a way which is both convenient and not at all stupid; the leaders of the world unite for a peace conference in Gotham €“ Enter the anarchist, idealist and tight outfit wearing League Of Assassins who have spent the years of peace uniting the villains of Gotham in a collective threat to create a new, criminal, world order. Bruce Wayne must dust off the old Bat-Pants and start saving the world after the leaders are attacked, killed, kidnapped and the criminals start an assault on Gotham with Ra€™s Al Ghul using this as a way to demonstrate his power to the rest of the world and start issuing demands. Awesome Moment: A long opening cinematic sequence explains Bruce Wayne€™s loss of Batman, unwillingness to want to live a normal life and desire to get back in the game. He€™s quite obviously present at the time of the attack and you see the murder, the destruction and all the villains back. He escapes the furore, gets in to the Batcave and opens up the Batman suit. It oozes The Dark Knight Rises; as well as pant wetting excitement. Reason This Should Be The Story: Expansive, villain filled and a great singular story to anchor all the chaos; this would be exciting to play and control as Batman. Reason This Shouldn€™t Be The Story: League Of Assassins? Trying to take over the world? Idealistic nonsense? It€™s a little bit easy and clichéd.
