Batman: Arkham City Ships 6 Million

The 6 million units shipped is up 1.4 million units since Warner Brothers released their sales figures last October.

Warner Brothers had a good year last year and one of the main reasons for that is Batman: Arkham City. According to the Time Warner earnings that were released yesterday, Warner Brothers €œFilmed Entertainment€ division (includes video games) had a 9% year over year growth. Much of that growth has been attributed to Mortal Kombat and Batman: Arkham City which has shipped 6 million units since the game was released in October of last year. The 6 million units shipped is up 1.4 million units since Warner Brothers released their sales figures last October. Overall Warner Brothers Filmed Entertainment Division has earned 1 billion more this year over last. To say Batman: Arkham City was a success would be an understatement, considering it has already past its predecessor Batman: Arkham Asylum in sales within only four months. Now the question becomes does Rocksteady make another Batman game or do they move on to a new franchise? I know I am one of the few but I would like to see Rocksteady tackle a Batman Beyond game, but that is just me. What would you like to see Rocksteady work on next, another Batman title or maybe the rumoured Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle game?
