With the Court of Owls discussed, it's worth also mentioning Owlman, the figure who is their leader in an alternate universe. Owlman is also a corrupted evil version of Batman in this universe, who has previously crossed over into the canon Batman universe within the comics.

All this in mind, a fight between the caped crusader and his alternate self - or even a classic reveal that the man leading the Court of Owls was, in fact, Bruce Wayne - would be absolutely fascinating to see.

Bringing in alternate universe dealings may be a step too far for the current road the Batman games are travelling down. But Owlman would be a perfect villain to include at some point in the game series - and what better time than with the Court of Owls already present in the next game?
