Batman: Arkham Insurgency - 10 Things It Must Learn From Knight
10. Ditch Riddler's Raceways & Give Us A Pay-Off To Tracking Him Down
Nobody wanted them, nobody truly enjoyed them, and yet Rocksteady still included a number of bonus 'raceways' as part of Arkham Knight's Season Pass. Even the idea of Riddler somehow having the means to set up a series of large-scale underground racetracks was a reach, despite Edward Nigma's substantial intelligence and prowess.
The only logical conclusion is to can them, but if that's not going to be the case - and if the leak is correct, it isn't - WB Montreal must deliver this time round on the pay-off of completing all of both them, and Nigma's other puzzles.
In Arkham City, finishing all of Riddler's challenges meant you got a badass scene where Batman dragged Edward through the floor of his surveillance room, planting boot to face before handing him over to the GCPD. Arkham Knight then... put him in a big ol' mech and forced you to have a totally out-of-place battle instead. Super.
For Insurgency, if Riddler is yet again going to be a large presence in Gotham, we need a satisfactory, sky-punching resolution that perfectly rewards the occasional busywork of bringing him in. More "I'm sick of your sh*t, Nigma!" controlled anger Batman, please.
