5. Don't Shoehorn In Another Role For The Joker

You're either sick of him thanks to Rocksteady's "He's not in this one, promise!" being a lie, or you're game for more Clown Prince, whatever the weather. Personally, I think the Arkham games could do with ditching Joker altogether for just one game - if not to prove a team of writers can actually create a worthwhile story without him.

Relating back to the leak, Joker is apparently behind the mass breakout of Arkham and Blackgate that allows everyone to spread out across Gotham, but the same info mentions that he's not a main character - more the Heath Ledger "I'm a dog chasing cars" version.

Either way, for the sake of progression, it would be very healthy for any Batman game to choose more unexplored territory like say the dualism of Two-Face, the 'saving him from himself' fragility of Mr. Freeze or the technologically-reliant likes of Prometheus, as all can provide parallels to how Batman thinks and operates, rather than just the chaos to his order.
