Batman: Arkham Insurgency - 10 Things It Must Learn From Knight
6. Let Us Repair The Batsuit As Part Of The Story
I can't be alone in thinking that the repetition of Batman slowly getting more and more degraded as the games went on sort of tarnishes the 'image' of a superhero in the first place. It totally worked in Arkham Asylum as Bruce was 'trapped' on the island until all the criminals were back in their cages, but so many games on, having the 'look' of the Dark Knight get so scuffed up is something that would be better factored into the story.
Remember Arkham Knight's unveiling of the new Batsuit? It was glorious. Let the player earn that suit by checking in on - or hearing about - its development, possibly coming together at the end to facilitate going toe-to-toe with whoever's revealed as the 'big bad'.
We're seeing Injustice 2 introduce the idea of having Batman's suit be composited of a number of different 'loot' components too, and whilst the Arkham series shouldn't devolve into a similarly customisable system, actually taking a role in restoring the image and 'presence' of Batman would inherently be very rewarding.
