Easter eggs and references are a key part of the Arkham experience - the Riddler trophies are all about uncovering small, hidden details that reference DC Universe characters and there's usually several intricate Easter Eggs which highlight details about future games. Take the Arkham City reveal that was hidden in Arkham Asylum, as an example. Players couldn't even find the Easter Egg alone - Rocksteady had to tease players towards Quincy Sharp's office, inviting them to find the hidden wall which led to Sharp's secret office. Hiding secret hints about the series in their games has become a Rocksteady trait nowadays and Arkham City still has stuff to be discovered - Rocksteady have already begun teasing fans with a series of videos, leading them in the direction of Calendar Man. Calendar Man resides in a cell beneath the Courtroom and visiting him on certain real-life days will trigger specific dialogue - there's twelve in total with an achievement unlocking once you've heard all he has to say. Or so we thought. Actually, it seems that Calendar Man has some secrets up his sleeve still. Changing the date to the 13th December 2004 (the date that Rocksteady was founded as a company) will trigger a specific series of dialogue from Calendar Man where he states: "I was there at your beginning and I will be there at your end". Many have interpreted this as a meta-reference from Rocksteady (indicating their role as the creators of the series) but on a more logical level, Calendar Man's words are fairly ominous. Is he referring to a character who could be "the end" of Batman? Could there be more hints and references hidden in Calendar Man's dialogue? Is there another secret office hidden away in Arkham City's many interiors? Rocksteady always have something surprising hidden up their sleeves and we fully expect someone to discover something amazingly shocking hidden away in Arkham City somewhere. I have an addiction to achievements, a craving for new bands and a dream to become Captain America. I once finished second in a Mario Kart 7 tournament so I'm kind of a big deal.
