10. The Suicide Squad Will Feature Heavily

Arkham Origins might not have been made by Rocksteady but it still introduced some plot-threads that will undoubtedly be revisited in Arkham Knight; the most intriguing of which is teased by an end-credits scene. Deathstroke appears in Origins as one of the assassins looking to claim the bounty on Batman - of course, he fails and ends up in jail. Here, Amanda Waller approaches Deathstroke and offers him a reduced sentence if he joins something called 'the Suicide Squad'. Of course, comic-book fans will instantly recognise that name. The Suicide Squad are a group of incarcerated villains who act as Government agents, doing the dirty work undercover, with Amanda Waller often acting as the director of the group. With an extensive rogue gallery at Rocksteady's fingertips, just about anybody could be recruited into the group. Deathstroke seems a certainty and Harley Quinn is often associated with Suicide Squad work too, so both figure to be appearing in some form. Other rumoured names include Deadshot and Bane; the last one in particular would really endear fans to Rocksteady's take on the group. It's unclear what role they will play (will they be out to take Batman down?) but they're a near certainty to appear at some point.
