A few months back the pre-order bonuses for Arkham Knight popped up, and press outlets seized them as an indication of how the plot was going to pan out - mainly relating to a memorial statue you could purchase 'proving' that Batman was going to die at the close of Knight. Obviously the nearest parallel is Dark Knight Rises and the statue erected to him in memoriam therein - however in that canon it was a ruse for Bruce to escape the life of Gotham's defender, rather than him biting the big one. Either way, there's an immense amount of pressure for the team to satisfy everyone - both the 'Batman can never die!' crew and those who are looking for any creative force to do what no one else ever has. Between unmasking the Arkham Knight himself and being thrown into any number of scenarios that could go either way - if Rocksteady choose to let us pick and live with whatever the consequences are, it could be incredible.
