9. Sonar Bat-Lenses And Extra Vision Modes
Seen in: The Dark Knight So far in the first two Arkham titles we've seen Batman's Detective Vision put to very good use, although comic readers will know the lenses inside his cowl can alternate through a great many different vision modes, one of which now being the modified sonar pulse seen at the end of The Dark Knight. In Arkham: Origins a pretty cool screen effect was used whenever you would happen upon a crime scene, showing the lenses flicking between their various modes including thermal imaging, X-ray and various substance-specific detections - but aside from this we've not had a whole lot of control over these extensive vision filters. Although Gotham has been recently evacuated in Knight, let's have a reprise of the insanely cool scene from the end of Dark Knight, along with a one-button toggle for the others. If we're going to be hunting down a variety of perps across the city streets, surely Rocksteady can think of some unique ways to isolate and track them down?
