7. The Return Of Killer Croc
Perhaps not one of the most integral of Batmans many enemies as far as the narrative is concerned, the boss-battle with Killer Croc was alongside that epic mental showdown with Scarecrow arguably the finest in the whole Arkham series. The tension as the hulking reptile swam beneath you was palpable and we saw Bruce Wayne put in a rare position of incredible vulnerability where all his knowledge of remaining unseen was rendered completely useless. The aforementioned Scarecrow is confirmed as featuring heavily in Batmans latest outing so is asking for a bit of Killer Croc too much? The monstrous villain appeared in an Easter-egg scene in Arkham City and in a boss-fight in Origins which was so drastically worse than the original Arkham Asylum one that his inclusion was negligible. This forgettable execution was typical of that game overall, so lets see a final Killer Croc boss fight to do the original justice!
