7. Build Bridges
Everybody loves a shared universe, so it's not surprising that WB have taken that route with their upcoming slate of comic book movies. So why not reflect that in the games as well? Arkham Knight gave players a broader view of the Dark Knight's universe with a greater emphasis on the extended Bat-family, and given the DLC's focus on additional content for Batman's allies, it's safe to say that interest has been piqued. Would a Nightwing game be out of the question? Or Batgirl? What about Catwoman? Unlikely, sure... but never say never. Alternately, the Batman games can also serve as a bridge to connect various properties outside of the Arkhamverse, such as Green Arrow or Superman for instance. It's not beyond the realm of possibility either, as Arkham Knight was positively packed to bursting with numerous easter eggs referencing the greater DCU including nods to Queen Industries, LexCorp, Constantine and even the Man Of Steel himself - with the latter in specific leading many to believe that the easter egg was confirmation of Rocksteady's next project. Whatever the case, establishing a cohesive universe with Batman serving as a bridge of sorts would go a long way towards shaping an exciting new direction for DC's video game properties.
