Batman: Arkham Knight - 10 Perfect Ideas For The Next Batman Game

8. Globalise The Bat

With the ever-expanding scope of the Arkham series transporting us from the claustrophobic corridors of Arkham Asylum to the sprawling landscape of Gotham City, fans have become accustomed to an open-world to rival the GTA series in terms of sheer size. So why not just throw in the kitchen sink and venture beyond the gates of Gotham? It's not like there isn't a precedent for the idea - Grant Morrison's tenure on the series saw Bruce Wayne globalizing Batman and establishing a network of bases around the world for the purpose of recruiting new heroes into his growing army. With a global team of heroes comprised of the likes of Nightwing, Batwoman, Red Robin, Batwing, Cassandra Cain, Huntress, and more - it's easy to see the appeal of a team-based game with upgradeable gadgets and perks for the respective heroes. From Tokyo to Argentina and back to Gotham - It'd be an experience the likes of which we've never seen in a Batman game. And, although it would be difficult to figure out where it'd fall in terms of continuity, it's still a workable idea - as Arkham Knight depicted Bruce Wayne's doubts concerning his ability to protect Gotham City. Perhaps the formation of Batman Inc. is the Dark Knight's way of taking the fight against the superstitious and cowardly to the next level?
